The Magic Christian (Grand Films Ltd., 1969), Ship Model, Oversized Life Preserver, and Promotional Button. Vintage original group of props and promotional materials from the 1969 Peter Sellers film The Magic Christian, based on the novel by Terry Southern, including (1) miniature Magic Christian cruise ship model prop crafted from fiberglass and resin, painted in white, red, and black with translucent resin windows, lettered decals spelling out the ship's name, and an attached power cord to illuminate the ship's windows (electronics functional). The ship miniature was made for production but ultimately not seen in the final cut of the film. Also includes, (1) oversize pink-orange inflatable canvas life preserver with stenciled black lettering reading "The Magic Christian," measuring 66" x 26" x 5" when laid flat, featured in the film's chaotic finale, and a 3" diameter promotional button reading "Sink the Magic Christian" in purple. All items show signs of age and wear, with brittleness to the rubber elements. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Collection of Terry Southern.
