Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) Mounted Boar's Head from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 3). Original prop featuring (1) realistic mounted boar's head made from resin, rubber, wood, fur, and mixed media with interior mechanical components originally used to direct the prop arrow through the eyes measuring 26" x 20" x 24". Bolt is fixed in place. Interior mechanical components can be seen accessed through a hole in the back. Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) shoots a crossbow bolt through the eyes of a mounted boar's head (the boar that killed King Robert) while showing off for Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) in Season 3, Episode 2, "Dark Wings, Dark Words." To achieve the special effect of shooting the bolt through the eye, the production team added hydraulics inside the mounted head. Exhibits production wear.
