Official-World's Greatest Super Heroes Robin 8 Inch Figure (Palitoy/Bradgate, 1976). Swinging straight from the streets of Gotham to collectors across the pond, this vintage 8-inch Robin figure was released in 1976 by Palitoy/Bradgate in England under license from Mego, and marketed as part of the Official "World's Greatest Super Heroes" line. Dressed in his signature red tunic, green trunks, gloves, and boots-along with his yellow cape and black mask-this Boy Wonder remains sealed on his original card, which features distinct UK-exclusive artwork that sets it apart from its American counterpart. The figure's contents remain unused, though Robin's right glove has come loose inside the bubble and now floats freely. The card shows handling wear along the edges and corners, with noticeable bending in each, and creasing in both upper corners along with a vertical crease running beside the bubble on the left. The bubble has yellowed with age and has been retaped at the bottom, displaying surface scratching, scuffing, and sticker residue in the bottom right. Additional denting is visible along the left side and in the upper right, and the bubble bows outward slightly. The back shows more scuffing and surface scratching, with slight waviness and discoloration in the lower corners, along with visible surface tears in the lower left. A rare international variation, this Robin figure stands as a vibrant example of Palitoy's unique take on one of Mego's most beloved superheroes.
