Super Powers Collection Red Tornado with Superman Cape Offer Card (Kenner, 1985). With the success of DC's in the comic book industry, an attempt to take over the toy shelves had to be made. After leaving Mego, the license to make toys of DC characters went to none other than Kenner, who were still riding high off of Star Wars. With iconic packaging, Kenner grabbed from many corners of the DC Universe. Featured here is the Crimson Android, Red Tornado. Equipped with a waist twisting tornado feature the figure is from the 2nd series on a 23-back card with the US-only Superman Cape offer. The figure is new on an unpunched card and the bubble is firmly sealed. The card has corner and edge wear with a tack hole at the hanger as well as several creases. The bubble is clear but has denting at the top and bottom left corners. The back shows discoloration and tanning from aging.
