Hey, Hey, It's the Monkees (ABC, 1997), Davy Jones Live Performance Green Suit. Complete with musical sequences and comedy sketches, 1997's Hey, Hey, It's the Monkees was a one-hour comedy special that brought together all four of the original Monkees one last time for a television broadcast. The program played on the conceit that the group had never stopped filming episodes of their original television series, The Monkees (NBC, 1966-1968), and were still looking for ways to catch their big break with new plot ideas. This (2) piece green suit was worn by Davy Jones during the program, and consists of (1) 3- button long black suit jacket with notch lapels and flap pockets, trimmed with a dark green crushed velveteen material and lined with black sateen, and (1) pair of trousers constructed entirely of the same green crushed velveteen material with zipper and button front closure and lined with crushed red sateen fabric. Exhibiting expected production wear and age yet presenting well overall. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From The Stewart Berkowitz Television Treasures Collection.
