Planet of the Apes (TCF, 1968), Orangutan Costume. Vintage original (3) piece Orangutan costume including (1) collarless auburn wool Nehru jacket with zipper front closure and leather decorative fixtures on right sleeve, (1) cantaloupe-colored overcoat with leather tabards across the shoulders and back, (1) pair of matching cantaloupe orange wool zipper front pants with side adjusting self-buckle belts. The overcoat, jacket and pants retain the internal Western Costume bias labels with overcoat labeled "2776-1 Chest 37", Nehru jacket labeled, "2776-3 Chest 37" and pants labeled, "2776-4 Waist 28 Inseam 28". Exhibiting age and wear with fading to pants. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
