Description

Taurus II Humanoid Creature Production Face Mold with 1970s-era Casting from Episode, "The Galileo Seven" of Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount TV, 1966-69). Vintage plaster face mold used to create the creature masks of the hostile, giant humanoid creatures encountered on Taurus II. The head was sculpted by the legendary Wah Chang, who created a number of other iconic creatures on TOS, including the "Gorn", M-113 "Salt Vampire", and the "Balok" effigy. Includes a later, but vintage, 1970s-era rigid foam casting of the creature face pulled from the mold and painted silver. Casting exhibits age and cracking. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Collection of Greg Jein.
