Bewitched (ABC TV, 1964-1973), Agnes Moorehead "Endora" Rainbow and Sequin Robe. Vintage original kaftan constructed of a collarless pale lavender lurex and satin upper embellished with colorless seed-beads, faceted pale blue round crystals, small textured iridescent and faceted pink sequins, and large clear faceted crystals in-settings, with 3/4-length sleeves ending in embellished layered scalloped pastel panels, with floor length satin and chiffon skirt covered in matching scalloped pastel layers embellished with large clear sequins, extending into a short train, with single hook-and-eye front closure. Retaining internal Columbia Pictures bias label handwritten, "#1 Agnes Moorehead". Made for and worn by Endora (Agnes Moorehead) as the mother of the witch Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) in the ABC sitcom, Bewitched. Exhibiting age and production wear with some missing or loose beads. Accompanied by gray gloves, a wig, a pair of silver flats (with sole damage), a silvery-pink sequin dress with retail tag still attached, and assorted costume jewelry for display purposes. Provenance: Originally from the collection of Debbie Reynolds; Profiles in History, "The Azarian Collection", December 17, 2019, Lot #1019. Stewart took great pride in displaying his collection and had many custom-built mannequins in the likeness of the character made for his costumes. This lot includes one of those mannequins, which is in used and well-loved condition and will require special shipping. The option is yours if you would like to receive the mannequin.
