Clive Barker's iconic Cenobite Pinhead appears in full, grisly detail in this early Mike Mignola pin-up, featuring stark lighting, bold silhouettes, and chain-laced architecture. The controlled use of color heightens the sense of pain and dread, hinting at the gothic minimalism that would later define Hellboy. This piece is often seen as a key link between Mignola's mainstream comics work and the mature horror aesthetic he would go on to master.
