Batman Telephone Set (Remco, 1966). Straight from the height of 1966 Batmania comes this vintage battery-operated Batphone set, released by Remco to let kids feel like Gotham's top crime-fighting duo. Molded in bold red plastic, these classic walkie-talkie-style phones allowed young heroes to relay secret messages between rooms in true Dynamic Duo fashion. Each phone features a "Batman Telephone" sticker across the top, with the Caped Crusader's head cleverly placed at the center of the rotary-style dial. Instruction labels are still affixed to the bottoms, and the original connecting wire is included for full display or potential restoration. While the phones remain unbroken and free of cracks, age-related discoloration is visible in several areas, and the paper decals, though intact and well-adhered, show significant fading. Battery straps are missing, and the front dial clicker exhibits rust, alongside surface scratching and scuffing throughout. Still, this playful set captures the spirit of 1960s Batman merchandise, when every kid could be just one call away from saving the day.
