Description

Batman Command Console, Coders, & Walkie Talkies (Mego, 1973-77). Brimming with vintage tech and superhero style, this Batman lot showcases a trio of classic Mego releases from 1973 through 1977 that once brought the Batcave's communication tools into the hands of young crimefighters everywhere. At the heart of the collection is the Batman Command Console-a feature-packed gadget that transmits voice and sound, flashes a multicolor Batman screen, and includes a special code key for Morse code messages, complete with alphabet and number guides, dual alert sounds, and a telescoping antenna. It remains secure in its original Styrofoam casing and bilingual packaging. Also featured are the solid-state Robin the Boy Wonder and Batman Walkie Talkies, finished in sleek black with character images on the front, nestled in a plastic tray within the original box. Completing the lineup is the Batman and Robin Authentic Walkie Talkies Bat Coder Set, with one gray and blue talkie for Batman and one red and green for Robin, both mounted in a plastic tray on a stapled Mego card.

Each item exhibits signs of handling wear including edge and corner scuffing, discoloration, and creasing. The Command Console box shows surface tears on the top panel and pronounced edge wear, while the Bat Coder card has bending, lower corner separation, and visible creasing. The Robin image stickers on the additional walkie talkie set have lifted in areas, especially around the hand and bottom edge, with further scuffing seen on both devices. These collectibles have not been tested. A nostalgic salute to Batman's gadget-filled glory days, this lot is a standout ensemble for collectors of vintage superhero tech.
