Batman Mask & Cape Lot (Various, 1966-76). Channeling the early spirit of Gotham's caped crusader, this Batman-themed lot brings together a striking assortment of vintage masks and capes released between 1966 and 1976 by companies such as Ben Cooper, Arlington, Bland Charnas Co, and others. Included is the Bat Mask-Cape set, still sealed in its original bag with stapled header card, and a TV Cape Official Badge and Mask set made of sturdy plastic fabric with a full 36-inch length and self-adjusting neck band. The collection also features a Ben Cooper Batman costume, size large (12-14), crafted from flame-retardant vinyl in a one-piece coverall design with cape and reinforced welded seams. Also from Ben Cooper is the Fun Poncho with matching mask and hood, made of waterproof, flame-retarded vinyl and sized for children six to twelve. An Arlington black felt hat dated 1966 adds flair, complete with a golden oval Batman logo emblem. Two unique black felt Batman cowls are also included, one bearing a bold "Pow!" emblem and the other featuring the classic oval Batman logo at center front. Rounding out the lot are three vintage soft plastic Bat Masks from Bland Charnas Co, each with its original string intact and a header card marked 39 cents. All items display signs of age and handling wear, including surface scuffs and scratches throughout, with the delicate soft plastic masks showing typical signs of wear consistent with their fragile material. This is a nostalgic and visually diverse collection that captures the golden era of Batman fandom.
