Tora! Tora! Tora! (TCF, 1970), Japanese Destroyer Filming Miniature. Vintage original filming model miniature meticulously constructed of cast resin, wood and metal exterior and sub structural components and other multimedia elements. All assembled and hyper-realistically studio painted in browns and grays with a black stipe around the bottom and finished to appear as a real war vessel. Bottom is intentionally textured to appear worn from use at sea. This impressive filming miniature measures 185" x 36.5" x 17". Exhibiting age, production wear, soiling and with missing parts and several small pieces bent or broken. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
