Description

The Mississippi Gambler (Universal, 1953), Scale Model Miniature Riverboat. Vintage original riverboat primarily constructed of wood with black and yellow metal railings and beams with corbels, 2-metal smokestacks painted black, and a blue hull. The top deck retains the wooden pilot house, and the metal paddlewheel is at the stern. Measures approx. 152" x 60" x 35". This miniature is featured throughout the film for wide shots and was possibly placed in water. Miniature was repainted for a subsequent production. Displays production wear and age. The paint has stripped and chipped throughout, and some of the railing is loose or deformed. A hole with a hook and wire is at the front of the ship made for previous display. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
