Description

Tomorrowland: America the Beautiful Disneyland Attraction Poster (Walt Disney Productions, 1960s-1970s). This 360-degree movie attraction in "Circle-Vision" debuted at Disneyland in California in 1960 and was later added to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Florida in 1971. The Circle Vision film technique used to create America the Beautiful allowed audiences to view the feature as it was arranged on a large circular panoramic-style screen. The film featured historic landmarks and scenic locations throughout the nation, including travel to Hawaii, Alaska, and many national parks across the country. Created for the American exhibit at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair and sponsored by the Ford Motor Company, the American debut was sponsored by Bell/AT&T and was ultimately located at Disney's Tomorrowland. Measures 36" x 54". Designed by the incomparable Ken Chapman, the poster displays only very light edge and corner wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
