Description

Disneyland Grand Canyon Diorama Attraction Poster (Walt Disney Productions, 1958). Vintage original hand-pulled silkscreened poster measuring 36" x 54" and designed by artist Paul Harley. A part of the Sante Fe & Disneyland Railroad, the Grand Canyon Diorama was built in conjunction with the 29-minute 1958 Grand Canyon musical documentary shown as a supplement before Sleeping Beauty. Spanning 306 feet, it is one of the world's largest dioramas, notated proudly across the poster's colorful interpretation of the attraction which also features the beloved steam engine. This is the original design for the poster, as the bottom of the promotes train depots at "Main Street, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland." Fantasyland Station was closed and rerouted in 1966 for the beloved It's a Small World ride. Displays edge and surface wear, with 3-instances of 1" tears across the top border. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
