Fess Parker "Davy Crockett" Signature "Coon Skin" Racoon Cap from The Magical World of Disney (ABC TV, 1954-1955). Rare screen-worn costume accessory of Fess Parker as "Davy Crockett" from The Magical World of Disney, Season 1, Episode 8, "Davy Crockett: Indian Fighter", Season 1, Episode 14 "Davy Crockett Goes to Congress", Season 1, Episode 18 "Davy Crockett at the Alamo", "Season 2, Episode 10 "Davy Crockett's Keelboat Race", and Season 2, Episode 13 "Davy Crockett and the River Pirates". Three episodes were edited and theatrically released in 1955 as "Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier". Included is the "Coon Skin" racoon cap with lining, and Western Costume Co. label with "Fess Parker" handwritten. Very good, as production used, with some wear to rim. Raccoon cap comes with a tail (not pictured) that detaches for archival storing.
