Description
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Universal, 2008), Anna Walton "Princess Nuala" Screen Used Hero Dagger. This beautifully crafted hero dagger was used by Princess Nuala (Anna Walton) in the climactic final battle. Featuring a 6.5" faceted aluminum blade, the dagger is fitted to an intricately designed molded resin handle, expertly finished to resemble ornamented brass. It comes with a matching decorative resin sheath, bringing the total length to 13" when sheathed. In a pivotal moment, Princess Nuala uses this dagger to fatally stab herself, exploiting her mystical connection with her twin brother, Prince Nuada (Luke Goss). By doing so, she ensures his demise and prevents him from killing Hellboy (Ron Perlman), making this weapon a key artifact from the film's emotional climax. Exhibits production wear with scuffing on blade's finish and light wear on sheath. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions."All the Royal weapons exhibit the aesthetic of the Elven world. Instead of starting with Celtic knots, we used Eastern motifs and evolved them into a Celt-like language. We wanted to fuse curved blades and Damasque steel feel for the weapons - to try to avoid Western aesthetics and bring the East into the Royal Family." From the personal collection of Guillermo del Toro.
