Fahrenheit 451 (Rank Film Distributors, 1966), Portfolio with 40+ Set and Costume Sketches, Color Guides, and Storyboards. Original portfolio measuring 26.5" x 20" containing Tony Walton's artwork and research materials for Fahrenheit 451. Walton contributed both costume and set design for director Francois Truffaut's film version of the acclaimed Ray Bradbury novel. This portfolio includes (12) color guides, (13) ink and gouache costume and set designs, (1) ink and gouache costume sketch of Guy Montag (Oskar Werner) measuring 7.75" x 4.5" and mounted on foam core, (14) B&W production posters measuring from 14.5" x 15" to 15" x 20", and various pages of research (newspaper and art) documents. This is an incredible collection of production ephemera from the classic dystopian drama. Artworks are in production used condition including heavy wear, staining, areas of loss, and detached elements. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
