G.I. Joe Adventure Team Intruder Commander (Hasbro, 1976). A bold departure from the heroic adventurer theme that defined early 1970s G.I. Joe, the Intruder Commander was introduced in 1976 as the leader of "strongmen from another world"-a short-lived but memorable attempt to give the Adventure Team a proper villain. Clad in molded armor with a brutish sculpt and exaggerated musculature, the Intruder Commander became an instant oddity in the Joe mythos and remains one of the most unique figures from the vintage 12-inch era.

This example remains factory sealed on its original card. The card itself shows severe wear from age and storage, including heavy scuffing, widespread creasing, and significant edge and corner damage with bending and softness throughout. The hanger hole has been torn, stapled, and torn again-typical of figures that saw extended shelf life in retail environments. The bubble is yellowed and dented but remains securely affixed and free of cracks. Despite its condition, this carded figure is a rare survivor from one of the most eccentric chapters in G.I. Joe history. For collectors chasing complete Adventure Team-era displays or vintage villains, the Intruder Commander stands as a strange, compelling, and increasingly scarce piece of 1970s toy lore.
