Frankenstein's Flivver Plastic Model Kit (Aurora, 1964). A ghoulishly fun relic from the golden age of monster model kits, this Frankenstein's Flivver all-plastic model kit was released by Aurora in 1964 as part of their beloved Monsters series. Bearing kit number 465-98, this delightfully bizarre creation features Frankenstein's Monster behind the wheel of a cobbled-together hot rod, complete with outrageous custom touches like a coffin-shaped front end, monster hands gripping the steering wheel, and various spooky details that made these kits instant classics for monster-loving kids of the '60s. The kit comes partially sealed in its original cellophane-wrapped box, which remains in display-worthy condition with vibrant artwork and iconic mid-century monster styling. The box shows typical handling wear along the edges and corners, with cellophane tearing in the front lower right and left corners, as well as along the bottom left panel. Additionally, extra tape has been applied to the left panel to help secure the wrap. Despite these signs of age, the packaging retains strong shelf presence and remains a standout piece for fans of vintage horror collectibles and classic Aurora kits.
