Opening Michelangelo camera art from Ben-Hur Opening Michelangelo camera art from Ben-Hur. (MGM, 1959) Original title art used for the both the Overture and Entr'acte of Ben-Hur accomplished in gouache over photo transfer of one of the most renowned works of the High Renaissance, Michelangelo's Creation of Adam section of the Sistine Chapel. Accomplished on a 23 ¼ in. x 33 ¼ in. leaf of illustration paper tipped to slightly larger board. Exhibits some waviness and short edge tears; otherwise, very good condition. Hand-painted overlay is a reproduction to complete the display.
