Description

Joan Baez 1963 Hollywood Bowl Concert Program. An original, three-page concert program for Joan Baez appearing at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night, October 12, 1963.

This was the exact moment when Baez had a young, still-barely-known (on the west coast, anyway) opener Bob Dylan to introduce him to new audiences. Among the songs the pair sang on this occasion was the new Dylan tune "Lay Down Your Weary Tune," but Bob chose to never release it, so fans had to wait until his 1985 box set Biograph to finally get a good recording of it.

Measures 7" x 8 ½". In Very Good Plus condition due to edge nicks and toning on the edges, along with creases in various spots. COA from Heritage Auctions.
