Darius Milhaud Signed Contract. One page, dated January 16, 1946, on Columbia Records letterhead, signed by Milhaud in black ink. A prolific composer, many of Milhaud's pieces were Jazz-influenced, and many listeners consider him to be a father of the avant-garde movement. His students included Dave Brubeck, Phillip Glass, Burt Bacharach, Steve Reich, and Karlheinz Stockhausen. Very Fine condition. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
