Description

Charles Laughton Life Mask, Natural Finish. Charles Laughton of 1932/1933, as captured by Wally Westmore (then-makeup chief at Paramount) and brother Bud (his apprentice). Mask measures 8" wide and 13" tall. Some discoloring on neck and chin -- Fair to Good condition. A great study of Laughton from the era when he won the Academy Award for The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933). Accompanied by an LOA from Jeannie Westmore.
