An Orson Welles 'Smith-Corona 2200' Electric Typewriter, Circa 1970s. Classic design, slate blue, dark slate blue keys and carriage, still in excellent working condition with just a couple of keys that stick (remember that?), ribbon needs replacing; used by Welles on a daily basis as he always had stories, scripts, ideas, thoughts, and brainstorms that needed to be typed up; included with a black plastic cover though probably from a different typewriter; further included with a letter from Beatrice Welles indicating she consigned this lot directly to Heritage Auctions.
