The Police 1982 Ghost in the Machine Era Portland, OR Concert Poster. A striking red and white poster featuring the superstar trio for their appearance at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in late August. The band was on tour behind Ghost in the Machine, which spawned the hits "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "Invisible Sun," and "Spirits in the Material World."

The venue, where the Portland Trailblazers played basketball for many years, is still around today. And where the band was at the time, they had moved on from their punk-inspired beginnings and now sounded like a band willing to tackle any kind of rhythm and vibe, especially evidenced by the aforementioned hits.
