Description

Aerosmith/Guns N' Roses 1988 Pacific Amphitheatre Multi-Concert Poster. A show where Guns N' Roses was the opener? It was not a long time, but it happened in the mid- to late 1980s. GNR had released their explosive debut album, Appetite for Destruction, in 1987. With their punk attitude and hard rock sound, the band served as a notice to hair metal bands that the days of being cute and pop-friendly were on notice. (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains helped end those days in the mainstream in 1992.)

Guns N' Roses toured with Aerosmith in 1988. The Boston-based band had seen their fair share of drug abuse and in-fighting by then. Aerosmith was wrapping up their tour for successful Permanent Vacation album, and these dates on September 14 and 15 at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa were the final dates.

This vibrant orange window card measures 15" x 22". In Near Mint Minus condition with some corner bumping/creasing mainly in two corners. COA from Heritage Auctions.
