Ray Charles, Hugh Masekela 1968 Newark, NJ Concert Handbill. An original paper concert flyer advertising The Genius, Ray Charles, playing one evening performance at Symphony Hall in Newark, New Jersey on Sunday evening, December 10, 1968. As usual, his backing group The Raelets are with him, pictured in their own little circle. In addition, Hugh Masekela was billed as the "Extra Special Attraction." Hugh's "Grazing in the Grass" had been a #1 Pop and R&B hit that summer.

Nice blue on white color scheme by the Murray Poster Printing Co. out of New York. Measures 8 1/2" x 11" and grades to Near Mint condition. Only some very small creasing along the bottom edge on the left side, for about one inch. And less than half that imperfection to the upper left edge by the corner. Very slight toning.
