Description

The Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker Band 1973 Tampa, FL Concert Poster. Eat a peach with this delicious poster (made on coated card stock) for the Allman Brothers Band's concert at Tampa Stadium, then-home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Allmans had released their best-selling Brothers and Sisters earlier in the year. Fueled by the singles "Ramblin' Man" and "Jessica," the group's popularity was immense, so big they could play American football stadiums. Tampa Stadium was an open-air venue that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played until they moved into Raymond James Stadium (the site of where the Bucs won the Super Bowl in 2021). It could hold a little over 70,000 people.

The Marshall Tucker Band was the support act, and was just starting their successful career. Their self-titled debut album, with its hit single "Can't You See," was already out.

Measures 12 1/2" x 17 3/8" and grades to Near Mint condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
