ADVERTISING THE SECOND DATE OF THE ROLLING STONES' "GOODBYE BRITAIN" TOUR.

The Rolling Stones Free Trade Hall Manchester, UK Concert Poster (1971). Vintage original concert poster measuring 38.5" x 29", promoting the one-night-only performance by the Rolling Stones at Manchester's Free Trade Hall on March 5, 1971, as part of their "Goodbye Britain" tour. In contrast to the John Pasche-designed UK Tour poster, this scarce blue and yellow design depicts the band line-up of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts, and one of the earliest known appearances on a Rolling Stones poster for guitarist Mick Taylor. The setlist for that night mostly comprised songs from their upcoming album Sticky Fingers . Exhibits extensive wear including creases, noticeable edge wear and losses to the top edge, including a section separated from top of Mick Taylor's head to top edge visible in the catalog images, the poster possibly trimmed. Tape to verso folds to secure the brittle poster. Irrespective of its condition, this poster is an example of extreme rarity from the Stones' famous farewell tour of Britain before their move to France. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
