Description

Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle Signed Inscribed Photo (ca. 1910s). Vintage original 7" x 9" matte-finish photo of Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle, signed and inscribed in his own hand: "To / My friend / Walter W.L. Meyer / Sincerely Yours / Roscoe Arbuckle". Melbourne Spurr photographer's blind stamp at bottom corners. Arbuckle was a pioneering silent film comedian and director whose career, once rivaling Charlie Chaplin's, was tragically derailed by a highly publicized scandal in the early 1920s, despite his eventual acquittal. Light silvering to the bottom edge. Comes with Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
