Superman Beta 1980 - VGA 80 NM, Book Box, Flatback Seal, WCI Home Video. More rare than a shard of the doomed planet Krypton is this unbelievable 1980 Beta WCI Home Video release of Superman: The Movie. A grail in every sense, this factory sealed copy is currently the only known Beta copy of the film's first release, making this a must have for every Superman fan. This copy has received an overall grade of 80 NM by VGA with a Box subgrade of 80 and a Seal subgrade of 85.

Kryptonian scientist Jor-El sends his infant son Kal-El on a spaceship to Earth just before the destruction of the planet. Young Kal-El is discovered and raised by kindly farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, who name him Clark. Clark Kent eventually discovers the origin of his superhuman powers and moves to Metropolis to fight evil. As Superman, he battles the villainous Lex Luthor while, as nebbish reporter Clark Kent, he attempts to woo co-worker Lois Lane. By the end you will believe a man can fly.
