Description

Ravi Shankar Lot of (2) Vintage 1960's Posters. A pair of original posters from Indian sitar great Ravi Shankar dating from the 1960's. This lot consists of:

• A large paper head-shop poster, with no logos or fine print to tip off its origin, meaning it's probably not a promo poster. Measures 24 ½" x 33 ½" and grades to Good condition. The middle image area is fine, but the there is a damaged, crumpled, stained and torn edge down the whole left-hand side, and again on the upper right edge. Most of this would be lost once in a frame.

• A small concert poster silkscreened onto a blue board. In very psychedelic lettering, it states "Ravi Shankar on Sitar" and then in regular print at the bottom reveals "Folksong Club, October 4" but with no day of the week or year given. This poster measures 12" x 18" and grades to Very Good condition, with general light wear & tear and handling throughout.
