Apocalypse Now (Zoetrope, 1979), Academy Award Nomination Plaque for Best Picture. Original wood plaque displaying Academy Award certificate of nomination of Apocalypse Now for Best Picture, presented to Co-Producer Fred Roos. The plaque reads: "Be it known that 'Apocalypse Now' was nominated for an ACADEMY AWARD OF MERIT for outstanding achievement Best Picture of 1979". The plaque is made of wood with a laminated surface and measures 14.75" x 13" x .5". Exhibits just a trace of handling, with minor surface scuffing and edgewear, but in remarkably well-preserved original condition. The poster is for reference only and is not included with this lot.
