Alien: Resurrection (TCF, 1997), Xenomorph Egg and Production Documents. Original group of (11) items including (1) Xenomorph egg constructed of skinned soft polyfoam with a hollow interior that features an embedded 6" red acrylic disc just under the opening lips used for on-set lighting from within, measuring 22" x 15" x 15". The exterior of the egg has been expertly hand-painted in dark browns, and sculpted to replicate the organic, biomechanical design motif originally created by famed artist, H.R. Giger. Also included in the lot are production documentations including (1) Second Revised script dated "7/22/96", (1) bound and printed Final Draft storyboard dated "August 18, 1996", (1) final crew list, (1) bound one-line schedule marked "Revised 11/14", (1) memorandum, (1) A.D. cast list, (1) day player breakdown, (1) vendor list, (1) call sheet, and (1) collection of on-set Polaroids, printed photographs and monitor prints. The iconic egg features prominently during the film's harrowing and action-packed underwater sequence as Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) emerges into a service tunnel that has become a nest filled with Xenomorph Eggs. Items exhibit general production wear and age with paint scuffing, chipping and cracks across the surface of the egg and general handling wear and discoloration to the included documentation.
