Vintage gelatin silver glossy and (six matte double-weight) 8" x 10" studio release photographs (63) (some duplicates), portraits (43) by Virgil Apger and Gilles Petard, 5" x 7" color camera transparency (1) by Apger, 5" x 7" candids (4), 7.25" x 9.75" (5) and 2.5" x 2.5" (loose or in strips) (18) contact proof prints with grease pencil (from 2.25" negatives) of Connie Francis [Concetta Rosa Maria Franconero] in Where the Boys Are, with caption stamp on the verso of some. From the archive of longtime manager Sandy Constantinople. Where the Boys Are, a pioneering teen comedy-drama centered on spring break escapades in Fort Lauderdale, marked Connie Francis's film debut and featured her breakout title song-now a staple of early 1960s pop culture. Connie Francis passed away in July 16, 2025, at age 87. She was a pioneering female pop performer and the first solo woman to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100-her 1960 hit "Everybody's Somebody's Fool" achieved that milestone.
