"Pirate with a Scarf / Number Two" stop motion puppet from The Pirates! In An Adventure with Scientists. (Jambareeqi, 2012-) Screen used hero animating puppet constructed of cast foam latex costume, cast silicone hands, cast foam latex torso and, cast resin head all assembled over a tooled aluminum ball and socket articulating armature. The 12.5 x 4 in. stop-motion puppet is expertly assembled and painted from his worn lab coat to his tiny glasses. This "Pirate" puppet is visible in the scenes when "The Captain" and his men dress up as "Scientists and in the trailer for the series. Also in the show's trailer. Head retains some modeling clay features used for changing facial expressions. Displayed on a cast resin base sculpted and finished to appear as weathered wood flooring. Exhibiting minor production use and handling. In fine condition.
