The Byrds, Joy of Cooking 1971 Portland, OR Day-Glo Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising The Byrds and Joy of Cooking performing at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, March 9, 1971. Exceptionally bright orange Day-Glo coloring highlight this poster along with terrifically fun concept artwork of the band in a pot complete with salt & pepper shakers, fully involving the opening band.

Made on extra-thick board by the Washington Poster Co. and very rarely seen; these were always run in small numbers and few survived. This first-time Heritage offering measures 15" x 22 1/2" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: The front of this poster is in great shape, with only light corner nudging and some creases down on the lower right one, but breaking no color. Also light toning throughout. The verso, however, has four lines of blacked-out pen writing.
