Description

The Beach Boys 1968 Kansas City, KS "Summer Teen Spectacular" Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising the surf-rock greats supported by the Human Beinz ("Nobody But Me") and the Union Gap (sans the usual mention of front man Gary Puckett) performing "Two Big Shows" on the Kansas side of Kansas City on Sunday evening, July 14, 1968.

This was the very week the Boys released their last Top 20 hit of the 1960's, "Do It Again." Written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love, the hit was a callback of sorts to their earlier surf image and getting back to their roots one more time. This first-time Heritage offering measures 14" x 22" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Has toning throughout, lightly-bumped corners, water damage (visible on the verso), soiling in spots, and smudges.
