The Bee Gees 1974 Japanese Tour Concert Poster. An original advertising poster made for multiple dates in Japan as the Brothers Gibb toured behind their Mr. Natural album in 1974. Even though the album was not a blockbuster like some of their previous efforts, the draw of Robin, Maurice and Barry still made them headliners practically anywhere they went. It was on Mr. Natural where the trio branched away from the Beatles-inspired pop tunes and more into the disco/funk/soul sound that made them ginormous pop stars with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. But the change from "To Love Somebody" to "Stayin' Alive" didn't happen overnight. Measures 20 ¼" x 29". In Fair condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: This poster is quite well-loved, as they say. Several spots of foxing and toning, along with creasing, tape residue in the corners, staple holes, toning throughout and grime. Notice the broken color in the black right above Robin's (center) head. At least the two strong horizontal creases do little or no harm; one goes through the group photo but somehow isn't very visible on the front, and the stronger one goes through the blank white box at the top harmlessly.
