The Beatles, Ronettes 1966 Washington D.C. Concert Handbill. An original paper concert flyer for The Beatles appearing at D.C. Stadium in Washington, D.C. on Monday night, August 15, 1966. Terrific graphics makes this one of the best Beatles advertising pieces from any of their three American tours. Just one show here, at 8:00 PM, attended by about 32,000 fans.

Opening act the Cyrkle got some love from the designer due to their catchy "Red Rubber Ball," a very recent #2 national hit. The Ronettes (with Ronnie Spector) are also plugged, but for some reason Bobby Hebb ("Sunny") and Barry & The Remains went unmentioned. Nice detailed ticket information down at the bottom - and remember, it was needed, because the '66 shows generally didn't sell out. Measures 5 ½" x 8 ½" and grades to Very Good Plus condition. More Information: Handbill has a 2 ¼" diagonal crease in the lower left corner area, breaking a little color or at least visible in the support-acts box. It passes OK through "Super" and "Georgia." The lower right corner also has a diagonal crease but only ½" and not even visible on the front. There's a miniscule light stain to the left of "The" before "Beatles."
