Grateful Dead 1983 University of Maine Concert Poster. An original red & black glossy concert poster advertising the Grateful Dead performing in the Alfond Arena at the University of Maine in Orono on Tuesday evening, April 19, 1983. From the band's Arista Records phase, their two most recent albums had been Dead Set and Reckoning. This first-ever Heritage offering measures 14 3/8" x 22 1/2" and grades to Very Good condition. More Information: There are a lot of little handling creases to the glossy surface throughout. Those lightly break the red to the immediate upper right of the skull and on the poster's left edge, to the left of "AT" in "Grateful" (and also in the middle bar of the "E"). A couple of tiny dings to the bottom edge. The verso has small numbers written in ink pen in the upper left corner.
