Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa 1969 Newport Jazz Festival Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising a big number of eclectic musicians playing at the 1969 Newport Jazz Festival in Newport, Rhode Island on Thursday thru Sunday, July 3-6, 1969.

It seems humorously incongruent to see "JAZZ" in giant letters and yet still have a clutch of English rock bands performing, but that's what happened. The festival promoter tried to cancel Zeppelin when the crowds became too large, but the band would have none of it and closed their Sunday-night set - and the festival - with a rock 'n' roll medley led off by "Long Tall Sally." More Information: There are major knocks to two of the board's corners, with color-breaking creases attendant. There are stains & grime evident here & there such as in the top left and right white areas. Some surface scuffing is present and a little edge whitening from wear. The verso has copious tape lifts and tape residue stains.
