"STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" HAD BEEN OUT FOR JUST A MONTH

Led Zeppelin 1971 Locarno Ballroom, Coventry, England Concert Poster. An original and very scarce 54-year-old Led Zeppelin poster made to be sold at the show which Zep played at the Locarno Ballroom in Coventry, England, on Thursday night, December 9, 1971. Features a towering Led Zeppelin blimp with searchlights tracking it from the ground. If you had attended this show, how could you possibly resist buying this souvenir? But apparently many people did resist, because this is the very first time Heritage has been able to offer it.

This was considered somewhat of a "surprise" show, because the band gave very little advance notice when they booked a few gigs in late '71. Kinetic Circus was given as the promoter, and the brief surprise tour helped build momentum for Led Zeppelin IV (Untitled) with "Stairway to Heaven," released just a month before this gig.

More Information: Poster has instances of mild creasing, toning, mended or closed corner pinholes, and some whitening of the right edge down near the bottom, from rubbing.
