T-Rex paint master from Universal Studios Back to the Future theme park attraction. (ca. 1990s) This Tyrannosaurus Rex head was created as a paint master and reference in the creation of the Hollywood, Universal Studios theme park ride based on the smash Back to the Future franchise. Steven Spielberg was consultant on the ride, which involved park guests riding in a Delorean back in time to primeval Hill Valley where they confront and are ultimately swallowed by a T-Rex. This reference bust consists of a 37 x 34 x 17 in. T-Rex head and neck composed of cast foam latex and carved urethane foam components. The entire piece is expertly painted and finished with individual urethane teeth and custom made, reptilian glass eyes. Comes with custom-built platform to pose a replica DeLorean time machine (included) near the T-Rex's gaping mouth. In vintage very good condition. Special shipping arrangements will apply.
