Michael Jackson maquette for the Disneyland Captain EO attraction. (Disney, 1986) The Imagineers at Disney collaborated with George Lucas (producer), Francis Ford Coppolla (director) and the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson to create Captain EO, a 17-minute long, state-of-the-art 3D, Sci-Fi film for the Disneyland attraction of the same name. This is a production maquette of Michael Jackson as "Captain EO". Measuring 17.5 in. tall and permanently affixed to a 10.5 in. round base. The highly detailed figure portrays Jackson in a characteristic pose wearing his futuristic screen costume with his sidekick "Fuzzball" on his shoulder. The maquette is painted primer gray and remains in production-used, vintage fine condition. Comes with an LOA from sculptor Jim Leonard.
