Starfleet engineering bay helmet from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (Paramount, 1979) Original Starfleet engineering bay radiation suit helmet constructed of a repurposed helmet painted white with added vacuum-formed chin guard and visor. Featuring painted Starfleet logo at forehead, and internal neoprene neck liner for comfort of wearer. Interior crown marked with prod. info covered with adhesive remnant. Designed as part of the Engineering Bay radiation suit costume worn in the early Star Trek films. Exhibiting cracks to joints of helmet and vacuum formed elements, and some paint chipping. The neoprene liner has come unfastened. In production used good condition.
