Description
"Dumbo" bronze sculpture. (Wolf's Head Productions/Henry Alvarez Foundry, ca. 1990's). Rare 10.9 x 12 in. bronze sculpture of "Dumbo" titled "Dumbo's Flight", sculpted by artist David Smith. Produced in the Henry Alvarez Foundry, a limited edition of 43 pieces were sold in 1996 at the Disneyana Convention at Disney World. This artists' proof copy was retained by Henry Alvarez personally. The mold for this piece has since been destroyed and no more copies can ever be produced. In fine condition. On 8.9 x 7.5 in. marble base. Special shipping arrangements will apply.Auction Info
