Miniature "Black Pearl" ship's wheel from Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. Miniature "Black Pearl" ship's wheel from Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. (Walt Disney, 1996) This 1/6th scale miniature ship's wheel once graced the helm of the massive "Black Pearl" model crafted by the legendary artists at ILM. The 16 x 14 x 21 in. wheel is primarily made out of hand-carved wooden components, some resin pieces and lashing twine around the wheel's barrel. Created for the first Pirates of the Caribbean film Curse of the Black Pearl starring Johnny Depp as the beloved "Captain Jack Sparrow". The expertly painted, distressed and detailed miniature wheel is mounted on a matching replica base of the ship's deck to complete the display. In production-used, very good condition.
